WEEABOO SHOGUN PRESENTS: Special Rescue Police Winspector Episode #9

Note: Not Featured In This Episode
For those of you in the United States, Happy Fourth of July! Here's an episode of Winspector to celebrate with. The bird above is not featured in this episode, unfortunately. There's only one more episode with a nightmare bird, and another episode where a nightmare happens to a bird.

Masaki, the Early Years
Commander Masaki is being shadowed by a mysterious man. What does this man have in store for him? At last, learn the background of Commander Masaki, Hisako Koyama, and the terrible sequence of events that led to the formation of Winspector. But this case could very well be Winspector's last...

This is a fantastic episode, certainly one of the best early ones. Very little action, but a lot of backstory -- and a "ticking clock" plot. A strange premise for revenge, but when all the pieces come together, you'll understand completely why the criminal uses the method he chooses. Hiroshi Miyauchi once again proves why he's one of the best actors of all time, with a very convincing performance. Masaki's rage in the interrogation scene is absolutely fantastic, along with his determination to protect his comrades. And Koyama... you learn a lot about her this time.

Hope you enjoy this one as much as I do.

UPDATE: Sorry about that, folks. I attached the wrong episode to the script. This did lead to some hilarious and inappropriate subs though. The episode will be correct not.
